Aims and Objectives

Promotion of the high levels of art within the Face and Body Painting industry.  

Promotion of safe working practises and the use of only approved products. 

To showcase home-grown and International talents from within the Face and Body Painting industry to a much wider audience.

Promotion of the Festival as a unique event Worldwide, following the ethos of the World Body Painting Association.

The introduction of the art form to more members of the public.

To hold the festival within Wales and using the Festival to promote Welsh crafts, arts and culture.

Promotion of Face and Body Art through internationally recognised accredited competitions to international levels and standards.

To hold demonstrations, lectures and exhibitions in an fun environment conducive to the gaining of knowledge

To make an inclusive event for those of all levels and abilities with no discrimination against anyone taking part on any grounds.

To showcase the event as an entity whilst still promoting the differing sectors from within the event.

To actively encourage local clubs and groups to take part in various forms.

To actively work on the growth of the festival year after year.

To establish The Welsh Face and Body Painting Festival as one of the premier events of its kind.
